A CosmoPoster star map is a personalized image of the night sky showing the exact positions of stars, planets, and constellations for a specific date, time, and place. It is a perfect way to capture a special moment — a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or another meaningful event.

We create maps based on astronomical data using specialized software.

We offer star maps in several standard sizes:

• 11×17 in — compact size, ideal for smaller walls
• 12×18 in — the most popular size, looks great above a desk or nightstand
• 18×24 in — large format for a bold accent
• 24×36 in — statement size for spacious rooms

These are standard US poster formats, so a ready-made frame from any home or craft store will fit — no custom framing needed.

You can switch between inches and centimeters in the editor.

After checkout and payment, you will receive a high-quality PDF file of your star map for self-printing.

If the size allows, you can print it at home. However, we recommend using a print shop for professional results.

If you ordered the printed version, there is nothing to print: we produce the poster on heavyweight matte paper and ship it to you.

Checkout is powered by Stripe — we never see or store your card details, and no account is required.

Ordering a star map is simple:

1. Choose a map type and design style on our website
2. Enter the date, exact time, and location of the event
3. Add personalization (title, caption, text)
4. Choose a size
5. Add the item to your cart and complete checkout

To create an accurate map, we need:

• Event date (day, month, year)
• Exact time if you want a specific moment (hours, minutes)
• Location (city and country)

If you are unsure about any details, we will gladly help you during the order process.

After placing your order, if you notice mistakes in your poster or want to change the size, simply contact us — we will make corrections free of charge.

Yes. If you're not happy with your star map, email us within 30 days and we'll refund you in full.

In most cases we don't even need to — wrong date, a typo, a different style: tell us and we'll redo it free.

If you made a mistake in the date, location, size, or caption, email [email protected] and we will correct your star map free of charge.

Usually your star map files become available immediately after checkout, though in rare cases there may be delays of a few hours.

Printed posters take 4–7 business days: 1–2 business days for production, then 3–5 for standard shipping. You'll get a tracking link by email the moment your poster ships. If you are ordering for a specific date, allow at least 10 business days to be safe — holidays and peak seasons can add a few days.
